Konica Photo Express had its genesis with the establishment of the Konica Photo Express outlet in Phoenix Plaza in 1996. From this outlet the group has grown to become one of the most representative and respected photographic retail chains in KwaZulu Natal. Mr & Mrs Pillay, the owners of the group, being of Historically Disadvantaged Individual’s, (HDI) have mentored and assisted like-minded individuals to establish their businesses which are prospering within the industry. Mr Pillay already had five years experience under his belt before venturing out on his own. Together with his trained staff he managed to build this business into a lucrative and trusted enterprise.

Since then the company has expanded into Pietermaritzburg and Chatsworth, by assembling a highly qualified and experienced team to meet the demands of the communities.We strive to continually source cutting edge technology within our enterprise. Our machinery is continually upgraded and each store boasts state of the art digital printers and equipment which ensures that we deliver on time, all the time. Over the years we have grown in leaps and bounds and successfully established ourselves as a reputable photographic company for schools, graduations, weddings, corporates and home photography.
